Hokkaido Wagyu

A5 Hokkaido Wagyu also known as 'Snow Beef', comes from northern Japan and is produced from Kuroge Washu Black Cattle.

This beef is fattier and sweeter than other Wagyu due to colder temperatures in the region. The icy climate of Hokkaido actually causes the cattle to produce extra thick coats of fur, which in turn, encourages even more luscious intermuscular fat marbling.

When enjoying this piece of meat, you can try a variety of recipes including; grilling, pan-frying, shabu-shabu, or even deep frying.
